Programme Benefits:

ACCA’s Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) is a combination of study and practical experience, designed to build your knowledge in accountancy, IT and management. 
 

On completion of this qualification, you will be able to call yourself a Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and use the designation CAT after your name. 
 

You will also be eligible for automatic transfer to ACCA professional qualification, and entitled to exemptions to Fundamental Knowledge Level of the examinations. 
 

Syllabus:

There are 9 papers, divided into 3 levels, all designed to test the knowledge, skills and understanding you will need to work in accounting support roles. 
 

Examinations at advanced level are equivalent to first year of a university degree and offer a choice of options to suit your career needs. 
 

Duration: 12 months to 18 months

For Whom: For school leavers and working adults

Intakes: For Full-Time and Part Time- January, March, July, and September

 

Entry Requirements: Minimum age 16 years 
 

Assessment:

There are examination sessions per year –one in June and one in December. Students will be given completely free choice in the order and number of examinations to be taken at each session. 
 

It is possible to sit paper 1 to paper 4 by computer-based examinations. You can sit for these exams outside the June and December sessions and can also receive your results immediately on completion of each examination.

Plan A : RM 4050.00    Lump sum payment

Plan B : RM 350.00      x  12 installments

Plan C : RM 550.00   per paper 
 

Examination Fee: (payable to ACCA, UK)

Introductory     : £ 37 / paper

Intermediate     : £ 37 / paper

Advanced     : £ 42 / paper

Membership Fee : £ 58 (payable to ACCA, UK)
